Right Choice Home Inspections was founded by Daniel J. Matthews Jr., a service-disabled veteran who brought the same discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to mission that defined his military career into the home inspection profession.
Daniel is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and holds certification from the American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT) — two of the most respected credentials in the industry. His training and ongoing education ensure that every inspection meets the highest professional standards.
Beyond inspections, Daniel has authored three published guides — a residential home maintenance manual for homeowners, an illustrated field reference for inspectors, and a commercial property maintenance and inspection manual for business owners and facility managers — reflecting his belief that education and transparency are the foundation of a trustworthy inspection practice. He is currently working on a ten volume series to help train future home inspectors with the C-R-I-T-P inspection method (Condition-Recommendation-Implication-Technical References and Picture)
